The Door Is Open!

Incredible. The door is open—if only he had the courage to turn around and look.

The time for judging this world has come, when Satan, the ruler of this world, will be cast out. And when I am lifted up from the earth, I will draw everyone to myself... Believe in the light while you have the light, so you may become children of light.... I have come as a light in this dark world, so that all who put their trust in me will no longer remain in the dark. I will not judge those who hear me but don't obey me, for I have come to save the world and not judge it. But all who reject me and my message will be judged on the day of judgment by the truth I have spoken. (John 12)

How clear that Jesus came to rescue, to throw open the cage doors for whoever would want the rescue, want the light, over the darkness and the dragon. He is that bridge to the Kingdom of Light for those who choose to take it, the verdict... Loving the Light, walking out of the open prison door, or loving the darkness of the dragon. But He came so we could choose Life and have it abundantly.

“‘The Spirit of the Lord is on Me, because He has anointed Me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent Me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.’ Then He rolled up the scroll, returned it to the attendant, and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fixed on Him, and He began by saying, ‘Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing.’” (Luke 4:18-21)

He fulfilled this scripture once 2000 years ago. He’s fulfilling it again today through His Body.
