The Fuel for Intimacy with God

Many think the motor that drives intimacy with God is more prayer or more Bible reading. Those play their part, but it’s the willingness to change that fuels your intimacy with Him. It takes depth of thought, depth of communication and depth of relationship. And the better you are at digging it out of yourself – questioning your motives and reactions and habits - the more willing you’ll be to hear it from someone else. Your willingness to change and be changed is what fuels your intimacy with God. If you’re willing, God will honor that.
