Buried in Him
When we take our eyes off of us and look at Him, He takes care of us. Suddenly, all the things we focus on ourselves about are minute in comparison to caring about Him. In taking care of Him, He takes care of us and we don’t have to worry about our needs being met. It isn’t all clear or even remotely understandable. It’s even overwhelming at times, but not as overwhelming if we see Him as He is, as a desire to fulfill His desire rather than our own.
It’s even overwhelming at times. It isn’t always clear or remotely understandable how to go about following Him or why He’s called us to be or do what He’s called us to. It’s even overwhelming at times, but it’s not as overwhelming as the desire, if we see Him as He is, the desire to fulfill His desire overwhelms us past all of our fears, our insecurities and our selfishness. If we really see Him for who He is, the compulsion, the obsession to follow Him and be with Him overcomes all of our deepest fears and resentments, and all of our plans and all of our failures and all of that stuff. As we get buried in His plan for us and the love affair that He meant for us to have.
Father, open our eyes to SEE Your Son.
