The Old is Better???? NOT!

I thought of this ad cir 1967 after I’d recently heard the New Wineskins tracks of some conversations in a couple of different cities…

The fear, pride, or laziness of man says, “The old is better, the old is better”—and so they cling to the inferior—instead of using what “was” as a mere stepping stone, and looking courageously Forward to what CAN be. And OUGHT to be, for Jesus’ sake.

The Old Wine and Wineskin are NOT “better”—nor “safer” as some would hope. Not if it is JESUS we serve. : )
