Three ways to listen to a worship song.

1. Just listen. Think about other things or just take in the mood-enhancing as you would pagan music.

2. Sing but be a fan boy or groupie girl - liking the voice or energy or production technical nuance.

3. WORSHIP. Enjoying the “leadership” of the music and singer — but it’s YOUR SONG this time.

WILL YOU *ACTIVELY* PURSUE #3, or just waste time on your flesh?

Actively Pursue #3!!! One litmus test for me is.... do I/can I Listen and Engage worship songs outside of my “preferred genre.” If not, then likely the other isn’t real either.
