I was thinking and praying last night—and these words started forming and i started typing them out. Obviously, it’s Jesus singing to us... —j

What I ask of you

Is not more than you can give

To trust me with your heart

To trust me with your life

To give me complete reign

Of everything in you

Cuz what I’ve done for you

Is more than you could know

If I gave My only child,

The Delight of My own heart—

To take away the blackness of your soul,

To save you from the agony of

Eternity without Me,

Do you really think

It’s too much for Me

To ask that you simply

Love Me and trust in My love?

Cuz what I ask of you

Is not more than you can give

Is not near the price I paid.

But I’d do it all again
