A new song, from one of the brothers here...

Trust is a concept that’s hard to explain

It’s stronger than hope, but in some ways the same

You could call it “faith,” but faith is a word

That’s been so misused now its meaning has blurred…

Trust, seems to me, to be something I choose

To do when my HEART is the last thing to lose

I’ve held on so tightly, afraid of the pain

And finally let go as I sing this refrain:

Surely this is our God!

We trusted in Him, and He, He delivered us!

It helps to remember my feelings are just

Some stray millivolts in a brain made of dust

And doubt’s just a feeling, like all of the rest

That CAN’T change my goal to give Jesus my best

So I’m going to trust, although I’m in pain

If JESUS is for me, what doubt can remain?

He never said life would be easy, you know

But rather, through death He makes everything grow
