What Is Hell Like?
1/23/2023
If Eternal Life is “to KNOW Him, the ONLY TRUE God, and Jesus the Anointed One, whom He sent” - then what do you think Hell might be like? The atheists and phony baloney religious folks who mock God’s righteousness and justice and accuse Him for “hungry children in Syria” should readily be capable of grasping what Hell is: their worst nightmare. The ABSENCE of God’s all that is True in Him — His order, His fairness, His loyalty, His honesty, His kindness and mercy, His generosity, His patience.
Eternal Life is to EXPERIENCE the perfection of His character and love “from one degree of glory to another to another,” plus one, plus one, plus One.
So what is Hell like, eternal death existence? It is what atheists bark loudest about and religionists work so hard to accuse God of. The Hell-life, for eternity, will be all of the ugliest things man has followed the “prince of this world,” “the god of this age” into by their flesh and pride. Hell is an eternity of no order, no fairness, no loyalty, no honesty, no kindness or mercy, no generosity, no patience... no love. Hell is an absolute vacuum of Jesus’ love and character that He Himself invaded earth to create a foothold of the alternative to men’s flesh in sync with the god of this age, satan, that created the debacle in Syria and homelessness and immorality and filth and violence in the US, with ever-increasing unchecked ferocity and self-justification.
What does a person “get” when they accuse God of satan’s works by men’s unrestrained flesh, when He gave up His baby boy to create a beachhead for HIS Life, Zoe Life with a full future? They “get” what they deserve for ignoring the Door out, and the Way In: the FULL vacuum of Jesus’ absence, instead of the partial order of love and life with hatred and death mixture in “this present age.”
Hell is not an anomaly or a mystery to anyone with the slightest amount of love and sense. Hell is the outcome of a life that will not BOW before Abba’s SOLUTION: Jesus. To KNOW HIM.
The wicked shall be turned into hell,
And all the nations that forget God.
For the needy shall not always be forgotten;
The expectation of the poor shall not perish forever.
Arise, O LORD, Do not let man prevail;
Let the nations be judged in Your sight.
Put them in fear, O LORD,
That the nations may know themselves to be but men. Psalm 9:17-20
Why do You stand afar off, O LORD?
Why do You hide in times of trouble?
The wicked in his pride persecutes the poor;
Let them be caught in the plots which they have devised.
For the wicked boasts of his heart’s desire;
He blesses the greedy and renounces the LORD.
The wicked in his proud countenance does not seek God;
God is in none of his thoughts.
His ways are always prospering;
Your judgments are far above, out of his sight;
As for all his enemies, he sneers at them.
He has said in his heart,
“I shall not be moved;
I shall never be in adversity.”
His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and oppression;
Under his tongue is trouble and iniquity.
He sits in the lurking places of the villages;
In the secret places he murders the innocent;
His eyes are secretly fixed on the helpless. Psalm 10:1-8
He has said in his heart,“God has forgotten;
He hides His face; He will never see.”
Arise, O LORD! O God, lift up Your hand!
Do not forget the humble.
Why do the wicked renounce God?
He has said in his heart,
“You will not require an account.”
But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief,
To repay it by Your hand.
The helpless commits himself to You;
You are the helper of the fatherless.
Break the arm of the wicked and the evil man;
Seek out his wickedness until You find none.
The LORD is King forever and ever;
The nations have perished out of His land.
LORD, You have heard the desire of the humble;
You will prepare their heart;
You will cause Your ear to hear,
To do justice to the fatherless and the oppressed,
That the man of the earth may oppress no more. Psalm 10:11-18
I bless the LORD who gives me counsel;
in the night also my heart instructs me.
I have set the LORD always before me;
because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices;
my flesh also dwells secure.
For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol,
or let your holy one see corruption.
You make known to me the path of life;
in your presence there is fullness of joy;
at your right hand are pleasures forevermore. Psalm 16:7-11
As for the saints in the land,
they are the excellent ones,
in whom is all my delight. Psalm 16:3
“God is in none of his thoughts” vs “I have set the LORD always before me”... the Tree of Life
