When You're Poked in the Eye

As followers of Jesus, we can expect to be persecuted. Jesus said so. So, how do we respond? How do we pray for those who have made themselves our enemies? When the injustices of persecution or even just difficulties in your household come, get to the root in your own heart--vanity, pride, anger? Our job for now is to seek the lost and preach the Good News of the Kingdom, and one day Jesus will come on the clouds and make everything Right.
