You Can Make a Difference
“The eyes of the LORD watch over those who do right; his ears are open to their cries for help” (Psa. 34:15). What could be worse than to be all alone in a nighttime wilderness—jackals howling, bugs crawling, serpents slithering—and there is no one to call to, no one who will listen or help? That is the fate of those that have no God and no Father, those that turn a deaf ear to His heart for them and their futures. And just as it is innate within us to want to be noticed, just a little; and cared for, just a little; and thought of by others, just a little... it is also innate within us to make a difference in the short time we have here in this lifetime. That someone would notice and remember that we were here, and we contributed just a little something. It MATTERED that we were here. And we are missed when we’re gone. “But the LORD turns his face against those who do evil; he will erase their memory from the earth” (Psa. 34:16). A sad thing, again, that some will not walk with and humbly honor their God—what a LOSS, what a WASTE!! But, “The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those who are crushed in spirit” (Psa. 34:18). “The LORD will redeem those who serve him. Everyone who trusts in Him will be freely pardoned” (Psa. 34:22). Amen. Goodnight, y’all... 10:56 p.m.
