His Genius Plan Involves Us!

14But thanks be to God, who always leads us in Christ’s triumphal procession and through us spreads the aroma of the knowledge of him in every place. 15For to God we are the fragrance of Christ among those who are being saved and among those who are perishing. 16 To some we are an aroma of death leading to death, but to others, an aroma of life leading to life. Who is adequate for these things? 17For we do not market the word of God for profit like so many. On the contrary, we speak with sincerity in Christ, as from God and before God. (1 Corinthians 2:14-17)

He leads us in a triumph parade, putting His genius plan of grace on public display—that through us He wants to spread His aroma. Some will smell it and choose death, eyes glowing in the dark, and others will be drawn into the “greater things” Life. We don’t spread this aroma for anything that benefits ourselves—what does it matter what happens to mere pawns? This is a God-assignment, empowerment, responsibility, and authority to shine Him.

32All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats. 33And He will set the sheep on His right hand, but the goats on the left. 34Then the King will say to those on His right hand, “Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in...” (Matthew 25:32-35)

Participating in the authority of the King, linked with love, and becoming wounded healers as Jesus was. “Share in My kingdom authority because of your practical, out-of-this-world love that has set you apart as My sheep, My steaming hot ones.”
