Sow and TRUST!

Hi : ) I spent this afternoon putting a few thoughts down about how to see Spirit Life with an atomic microscope : ) … and while I was finishing the thoughts and asking some saints to look at it and rough me up, I got this question from California about the Email “The Intermingled, Fused, Together Christ-Life… Today.”

Question: How does one go about a “break” from unBiblical traditional thinking, and live immersed in what Jesus wants for us? I know that the Lord has touched my Spirit to help me to see some time ago, but how do we help others to understand? How will we be able to “live” together as this e-mail says, as God has always desired? It doesn’t seem like everyone WANTS to know and act on what God wants! How can we help them see?

Here is what I had written earlier today, and this is why, my friend in California, I can answer your letter so quickly! : )

We do, however, speak a message of wisdom among the mature, but not the wisdom of this age or of the rulers of this age, who are coming to nothing. No, we speak of God’s secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began. None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

However, as it is written:

“No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

no mind has conceived

what God has prepared for those who love him”—

but God has revealed it to us by his Spirit.

The Spirit searches all things, even the deep things of God. For who among men knows the thoughts of a man except the man’s spirit within him? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God. We have not received the spirit of the world but the Spirit who is from God, that we may understand what God has freely given us. This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, expressing spiritual truths in spiritual words. The man without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. The spiritual man makes judgments about all things, but he himself is not subject to any man’s judgment:

“For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct him?”

But we have the mind of Christ.

Did you realize that, to this day, this very high-tech day… NO ONE has ever seen an atom? The strongest microscopes ever created have NEVER seen an atom. An atom has never been photographed. NEVER. Did you know that? Are we waiting for a great new scientific breakthrough for “cutting edge” lens or laser technology in order to see an atom for the first time?

Nope. IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. NEVER.

Why not? Aren’t you just being pessimistic? Where is your faith in science and technology? You’re an engineer and scientist—you should know that Technology and the Human Brain and EFFORT conquer EVERYTHING!

Nope. Ain’t happening.

Why not?

Here are the facts. The largest atom is 1000 times smaller than a wave of light. If an object cannot reflect light, it can never be seen! An atom will never reflect light, any more than one could catch Mt. Everest with a baseball glove or fit all of the Pacific Ocean into a coffee cup. If an atom is 1000 times smaller than a light wave, it can never reflect light. It therefore, can not ever be seen, regardless of the power of a microscope. It is not in a realm comprehensible by a light wave.

Did you, along the same lines, notice that some people “just don’t get it”? No amount of effort or reasoning will ever be sufficient to allow them to “see” their need for Jesus (if they are unsaved), or essential Elements of the Kingdom of God and the Church as Jesus Desires it (if they are not sold out for Him). Did you notice? YOU can’t persuade such a person—or ever make them “see!” They just CANNOT SEE IT!

“That’s just YOUR interpretation.”

“That’s fine for YOU.”

“You’re being exclusive. You’re being judgmental. You’re being unloving. You’re not honoring.”

We can plant. We can water. We can help “pull the weeds” and cut away “the thorns” (1Cor.3:5-8; Mat.13). But, in the end, most folks that walk only in a small part of Father’s Plan have allowed some level of love of self, or love of the world, to harm their Spiritual life.

Sometimes, it is simply that they are new babies, and the growth process is not automatic or instant. Sometimes, there is a Sovereign communication problem due to something God has planned regarding His Timing. But, if one were honest with Biblical history, as well as the Word of God, usually it comes down to hidden (or not so hidden) sin in a person’s life that keeps them from experiencing and participating in God’s Intentions. They may “attend” and “do good deeds” or even “speak real good”—but if a person has allowed idols to blind them (Ezek.14:3-11; Mat.13:18-23), they “cannot see” what God is after. If sins of fear or greed or laziness or pride or spinelessness or love of the world, or idols of physical family, or “peace where there is no peace,” or reputation have blinded them… there is nothing that can be done by you or anyone else to set them free of their blindness. Like the atom that CANNOT be seen, such a person, according to God, “CANNOT understand,” “it is FOOLISHNESS to him.”

And what can WE do about that?! More careful reasoning or more aggressive proofs will do NOTHING for a person that cannot See. If they have blinded themselves, we can no more make them see—than an atom can ever reflect light. It is in a different level of existence and cannot be apprehended by the physical senses, as such. An atom CANNOT be seen, nor can Truth be SEEN by human reasoning. Moses could “see Him who is invisible” and befriend Him because his heart was willing to pay any price for God and for the Truths of God. There is no other way.

The Blood of Jesus, God’s great grace and unmerited favor make provision for “whosoever will.” But, if we choose to blind ourselves and “deliberately forget,” and allow “the cares and worries of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches” to choke His Life, God even promised to “send a powerful delusion that we would believe the lie.” We’ll just be SURE that we are “right” in the compromising things we are doing in His Name!

We can’t see an atom with a microscope, and we never will. We cannot see TRUTH or the face of Jesus through self-effort, persuasion by others, or by “growing up in it” (John 1:13). It is SPIRITUALLY discerned, not apprehended by persuasion or effort or intellect or Greek word studies and commentaries or cutesy stories. “How DOES this man have such great learning without having studied?!” We can and must plant the SEED of the Word, but it will never be to our credit if someone’s eyes are opened to “see the Kingdom,” His “ever-increasing Government”—rather than religious group therapy, or hype, or machinery. “You can’t get there from here!” Only God.

He also said, “This is what the kingdom of God is like. A man scatters seed on the ground. Night and day, whether he sleeps or gets up, the seed sprouts and grows, though he does not know how. All by itself the soil produces grain—first the stalk, then the head, then the full kernel in the head. As soon as the grain is ripe, he puts the sickle to it, because the harvest has come.”

We can and must plant the Seed. But fretting or competing or striving is totally unnecessary. It will help nothing. Better technology won’t EVER allow us to see an atom, if by definition it cannot reflect light. More striving will not get it done. It is in the wrong realm to be apprehended that way.

Even if a person WANTED to understand God’s Ways, if they won’t deal with the idols that blind, they would remain in “futility of thinking and darkened understanding.” “Some have wandered away from a pure heart, a good conscience, and a sincere faith…. They want to be teachers but they don’t know what they are talking about, or so confidently affirm.” It is just a Spiritual thing, not an intellectual one! Like the atom that CANNOT be seen, such a person, according to God, “CANNOT understand,” “it is FOOLISHNESS to him.”

Plant the Seeds in tears of compassion, do your best to help them see the weeds that choke and the idols that blind in their personal lives, PRAY valiantly, and relax.

Or perhaps get killed for sowing the Seeds of His everlasting Love and Reign.

But don’t strive!

Plant, don’t pant.

Pray, don’t slay.

Relax. : ) For those who care DESPERATELY that Jesus would have the reward of His suffering, He said… “Take heart!”……..

“I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure. All things have been committed to me by my Father. No one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son and those to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”

“ONLY GOD CAN MAKE A TREE” and “ONLY GOD CAN LET US SEE”! If a person’s heart is soft and their soil prepared as a “good and honest heart”—willing to obey, regardless of cost… THEY WILL SEE!

If not, not.

Sow the Seeds, water, help pull weeds, and trust Father to give the Increase amongst those with “good and honest hearts.” And you do what YOU need to do to please Jesus, regardless of the response! Open YOUR life, don’t be yoked to leaven, sacrifice your life for Jesus and others, pray much, be courageous in the face of the inevitable name-calling that comes when you dare to live and speak Truth. As always, the religious and the pagans will conspire together to silence you. “No man is greater than his Teacher.” But YOU don’t have to prove anything or accomplish anything or persuade anyone. Just love and pray and risk. : ) There is so much SHALOM in that. If you climb into HIS yoke, you will find Rest for your soul.

And, with the right heart—along with God’s melting love and Sovereign timing, you may just enjoy seeing the miracles of changed hearts! God is not limited by the size of an atom or the length of a light wave.
