"Can’t Help But Impress Them on Your Children!"

“Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God, the Lord is ONE!!!

“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be *(not x/y things to do but)* on your HEARTS!

[then you can’t help but]...“IMPRESS them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.” Deuteronomy 6:4-9 NIVUK

We’ve all probably experienced how when something Unlocks in your heart and mind, you start to see it everywhere in the scriptures. This really stood out to me the other day. There is no single translation that says it quite this way. But this is the meaning of what is written.

For it is God who said, “Let Light shine out of darkness.” This is the God who has made His light shine in our hearts, and that light is this: the KNOWLEDGE of God’s GLORY (THAT Unapproachable Light) shining **IN (or FROM) THE FACE** of the Christ, the Anointed One. 2 Corinthians 4:6

There’s that phrase people say, “It’s nice to finally put a face with the name.” For many hundreds of years, they had THE NAME: YHWH. The Anointed One is the Word, the Voice, and the Face of that NAME, Immanuel, God WITH Us.
