Life From On High and Power From On High

The Washing of the Spirit is not the same as the MANIFESTATION of His Spirit.

Any real covenant with God sealed in immersion baptism includes the Indwelling of His Spirit. This indwelling is about our quality of life in the inner man unto OVERCOMING because it is by the Indwelling Spirit that we put to death the misdeeds of the body. It is His Spirit within that causes us to keep His commands and decrees giving us His Life from on High.

But that’s not the only Spirit-giving miracle we see in the Book of Acts. We also see the outpouring of His Spirit, His Power from on High, given to complete special assignments of God. This is about our quality of life to the rest of the world—Power poured out as a Testimony in the present age.
