The Lord Our God Is One

The following will make some nervous. It will force you to bow your head and open up the back of your neck. It will force you to open your hands to the Zoe-axis, because the XY axis is of no use in this discussion. The tree of knowledge is a comfort zone, and the tree of life is to risk your own life. A leaf turning to the sun does not need to explain photosynthesis.

No one has seen God [His essence, His divine nature] at any time; the [One and] only begotten God [that is, the unique Son] who is in the intimate presence (Greek literally says “IN THE BOSOM“) of the Father, He has explained Him [and interpreted and revealed the awesome wonder of the Father]. John 1:18 Amplified

Another great summary verse… most consider Jesus the “savior” but Jude says…

Now to him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you blameless before the presence of His glory with great joy, to the ONLY God our Savior, THROUGH Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion, and authority, before all time and now and forever. Jude 24-25

 Philip said to him, “Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us.” Jesus said to him, “Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? John 14:8-10

This is not about “Oh, NOW I understand it all.” It’s more like walking into a huge incomprehensible Palace and being in AWE of just how much Exploration there is to Experience and what a great Mystery it all is.

What did Stephen actually See? The Son of Man, which a human can understand because God designed His Word, His Son to be the Living Bridge to His Glory. And that Son of Man was standing next to what or who? The GLORY of God.
