Put on Your Jesus-Glasses!

When you walk into a room—home, work, with saints, stores, stadiums… Put on your Jesus-glasses! Nothing else matters. The rest is just molecules and atoms bouncing off of each other creating illusions. Don’t fall for worldliness because… It’s absolutely stupid. It’s not even real. Don’t invest in what moth and rust can destroy, and thieves break in and steal. Worldliness is not wrong, it’s very stupid. It doesn’t even exist. Put on your Jesus-glasses! Only see what God sees.

Faith, defined properly, is to only, only, only see what Jesus says, what God says. Put on your Jesus-glasses!

“FAITH” is only in PART “believing Jesus was born to a virgin, God as His Father, sinless, crucified to wash our sins, raised from the dead, ascended, and Returning on the clouds to judge the living and the dead.”

That’s part. Put on your Jesus-glasses and see that.

But what about David with Goliath? He didn’t see a giant that mattered. He put on his God-glasses and saw the stack of stupid fat molecules that was in his way.

One cannot lust with Jesus-glasses on. Not because “it’s bad,” but because it doesn’t matter. With Jesus-glasses on, those are just molecules and atoms and mean nothing compared to Zoe life and the Z-axis Life that is truly life.

The scriptures are amazing and perfect, but they are only signposts that point towards God. Don't “diligently study” but not run to Him and jump into His arms. Put on your Jesus-glasses.

Pride and vanity could not be more stupid if one is wearing Jesus-glasses.

On the road to Emmaus, their eyes were open to what really was and is. They put on their Jesus-glasses.

Man-pleasing and nepotism absolutely disappear when we “see no man after the flesh” with our Jesus-glasses on. The world means nothing. We are “dead to the world and the world is dead to us” when we have on our Jesus-glasses to see things as God sees them.

Faith is not religion that believes a certain truth or doctrine. It is seeing everything on earth through Jesus-glasses.

When you walk into a room, instead of choosing to be filled with fear and worry, or pride, thinking about how you are viewed, thinking about having fun...instead, put your Jesus-glasses on! Decide that you will only see what He would see. Would He see people after the flesh—biology, pity, nice? Would He worry about health or safety? Would He fear what others may be thinking? OR would He just see them through Heaven’s eyes and CARE for their souls??

Elijah didn’t see a tiny cloud in the distance. He saw a monsoon coming.

The Bible is a story of those who chose to See with Heaven-Eyes, God-Glasses.

Whether food or drink do all to the glory of God. Forget “Ooh La La” lust for food or fear of food.

Let all things be done for the edification and building up of the Body, with no desires or pride or ambition or fear.

Put on God-glasses! That is the Bible Story, going all the way back to Abraham! That is the true definition of “FAITH”!

“‘Oh no, my Lord! What shall we do?’ the servant asked. ‘Don’t be afraid,’ the prophet answered. ‘Those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’ And Elisha prayed, ‘Open his eyes, Lord, so that he may see.’ Then the Lord opened the servant’s eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all round Elisha.”

“See the invisible!” — CHOOSE GOD-glasses!

THAT IS BIBLICAL “FAITH” -- and that is why commands, and love, and doctrines, and all of that are exactly the same thing, not two different kinds of “faith” -- but only seeing things exactly as God sees them!

God is so powerful, yet so practical. Everyone wants to see angels and fire chariots surrounding us. But we won’t unless we start by opening our eyes to see how stupid our sin and self-life is, and then take the time and initiative to simply care for others instead. Like our Teacher...
