Think of it this way: the five that had oil only for the moment and could not therefore get into the Party were burning the oil of enthusiasm—not the oil of Jesus’ Spirit. Their failure was not an accidental oversight. Their failure was that they had a different goal, a different motive, a different priority—some enthusiasm for the goal but not the gravitas needed to go the distance in HIM on the Z-axis. “Some spring up quickly with great joy but have no roots.” Everybody looks good who has the right “philosophy,” until there’s a test. And then you find out who gets to go to the Party, because they were really prepared for Jesus, not just wanting to look good burning the oil of enthusiasm for an idea. “Their going out proved they were never Among us.” They were enthusiastic posers—because they didn’t pay the price in the Inner Man.

They prepared for a moment, for an event, for an idea... Not for Jesus himself no matter the cost.

The “I’ve Been Changed” song will bring excitement and tears in all likelihood to the five with the oil, and the five with event-based oil will only be able to acknowledge “I’ve been changed” in their minds based on the things they do or no longer do. The two groups look the same, but on the inside, they most definitely were not the same.

For Jesus versus IN Jesus.

Robert, “I don’t want to lose heart! I REFUSE!”

What a difference.

Who was a better “person”—David or Saul? It might have been a close call in some categories. And they both were “tormented” internally. But, Saul was tormented about what he wanted, and how to have it for himself. David was tormented about what God wanted and how GOD could get what He wanted out of David, even when David blew it.

“But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him. God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.”

“Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain, a gushing spring of water bubbling and leaping and springing up into everlasting Zoe, [without beginning and end, that which always has been and always will be] Zoe Life.”

Oil.

These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things with spiritual. But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one. For “who has known the mind of the LORD that he may instruct Him?” But we have the mind of Christ.

Oil.

At that time Jesus answered and said, “I thank You, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and prudent and have revealed them to babes. Even so, Father, for so it seemed good in Your sight. All things have been delivered to Me by My Father, and no one knows the Son except the Father. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him. Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Our CHOICE is to be a “babe”—not an XY “god” or “goddess.” The opposite of “babe” is not grownup. It’s “narcissist.” And there is no easy yoke or light burden, no Communion for a narcissist.

How many ways can He say, THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE.

“Those who live according to the flesh have their minds set on what the flesh desires; but those who live in accordance with the OIL have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the OIL is life and peace. The mind governed by the flesh is hostile to God; it does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those who are in the realm of the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are not in the realm of the flesh but are in the realm of the OIL, the very LIFE of Jesus flowing from the unseen Heavenly realm, if indeed the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the OIL they do not belong to Christ. But if OIL is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness. And if the OIL of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his OIL that lives in you. Therefore, brothers and sisters, we have an obligation—but it is not to the flesh, to live according to it. For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit, the OIL from Heaven, you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.” Romans 8:5-13

A LOT of “the Lord your God is ONE,” and Z Axis +1 wicking us up to Zoe LIFE in Him, “I in you and you in me,” Your Kingdom come—on Earth as it is in Heaven, FireLife IN us—the hope of GLORY going on here:

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him... For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.. I now rejoice in my sufferings for you, and fill up in my flesh what is lacking in the afflictions of Christ, for the sake of His body, which is the church, of which I became a servant according to the stewardship from God which was given to me for you, to fulfill the word of God, the mystery which has been hidden from ages and generations, but now has been revealed to His saints. To them God willed to make known what are the riches of the GLORY of this mystery among the Gentiles: which is Christ/Anointing/Z-axis now in you, the hope seed of GLORY. Him we proclaim, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect/complete +1+1+1 to 100 fullness and stature on the Z AXIS, in Christ Jesus. To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. Colossians 1:15-29
